We all would love to be financially independent, we all would love to start our own businesses and see them thrive. But one of the biggest challenges we get is figuring out how to fund our endeavors. Not every business requires a large investment from the get go, but nowadays it’s even hard to raise that 30,000 or even 20,000 to start off.

Unemployment is a major problem, not only in Kenya but in Africa as a whole. A majority of the unemployed are the youths. Whether you have a college degree or not, the joblessness strikes you.

This has caused lots of people to live in huge poverty. Recently we have seen a lot of Africans illegally migrating to other continents like Europe, risking their lives and being swallowed by the Oceans and Sea. They leave their ancestral lands to go look for opportunities in foreign lands.

Such scenarios should not be the case in modern world. Legally we are not under any obligation to share our individual wealth. But what joy can you have when someone smiles because you made him happy. What joy can you have when you know you have put a meal on another family’s table?

Let’s use the resources of the minority to empower the majority through offering both formal and informal jobs as well as development projects. I am not writing about something I only heard of but it’s something I have witnessed, lived and experienced it work. With the above, over time, Employment will rise, Innovation will rise and subsequently crime will decrease.

The maximum wealth of a country must be derived by utilizing all of its manpower and skills. Let’s employ the “SISI KWA SISI” mentality and take charge. We are the solution to the problems we face if we all are concerned.
